Agriculture

Slovakia - New towers for the production of animal feeds

In 2020, PKD supplied a steel structure for the production of animal feeds. The new towers has a production capacity up to 200,000 tons of the feeds per year. The delivery also included a structure for a square silos. The total weight of the delivered steel was about 1000 tons. According to the investor's request, the entire structure was provided with a fireproof coating for 45 minutes, which was applied directly in the production of PKD.

Vadín - Production stable for dairy cows and milking parlor with waiting room and facilities

Vadin agricultural farm has decided to expand and improve livestock production. In 2018 and 2019, the production barns and adjacent milking parlors were delivered by PKD. The new barn holds around 700 dairy cows. Its dimensions make this barn one of the largest in the Czech Republic. PKD has designed and supplied a steel frame construction without intermediate supports, with the maximum possible savings of the material. The chosen method of calculation enable to design the main frame very slender, with fully utilized material capacity in accordance with European regulations. Many years of experience in the manufacture of steel structures and knowledge about every small detail place PKD at a leading position in the market.

Agricultural farm - Násedlovice

Extensive modernization of the farm in Násedlovice meant for PKD delivery of a new modern stable, routing pen and calves raising hall, which will make the animal production more efficient. Modernization included the construction of a new silage trough, pumping pit, storage pit including a dispenser and an incineration box. The new stable has a capacity of 592 dairy cows. The delivery included a static assessment, drawing documentation, installation of foundation piles and a complete delivery and installation of the upper steel structure. PKD delivers an optimal solution based on many years of experience with the emphasis on the use of high-quality materials, including multilayer paintings suitable for direct contact with animals.

Agricultural farm - Dešov

The assignment meant for PKD delivery of the upper structures of the barn, milking parlor and adjacent cow routing. In addition to manufacturing and assembling the steel structures, PKD, through its experienced contractors, provided complete wall and roof cladding, including gates, ventilation walls and slots. PKD primarily designs constructions without the need for intermediate supports which includes the buildings and halls such as large-span barns. The advanced static calculation from our technicians has enabled us to save both on work and material for this project.

New diary farm in Vadin just opened

In 2019 PKD finished a modern diary farm in Vadin, with a steel structure spanning over 35m without intermediate supports. Modern technologies, fresh air and happy cows.

CNC cutting machine - Omnicut

In 2018, a new plasma cutter was purchased to increase the production capacity. This plasma cutter enables cutting into large-sized sheets, which could be up to 30 mm thick.

PKD is often in the position of the general contractor of constructions. From the design process, manufacturing, assembly up to installation of technologies and commissioning. We are able to provide complete supplies of turn-key projects in agriculture as well as industry.

All PKD´s processes are certified acc. to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2016 in connection to ČSN EN ISO 3834-2:2006, ČSN EN ISO 14001:2016, ČSN EN 1090 EXC1-EXC3. We are the holder of European welding certificate under the survey of EU welding federation (EWF).
