PKD is a family-owned company with international activities and rich history. We offer comprehensive solutions from design, production and assembly.
Since 1961 we have been producing steel halls and structures of various kinds in two manufacturing facilities Dačice and Kunžak. At present, PKD is one of the most modern producers of steel structures in the Czech Republic.
PKD also has its own engineering department that prepares project documentation such as static calculation or workshop documentation. In order to provide a complete service PKD has also its own transportation fleet that fastens the whole process of deliveries.
Design
PKD has its own engineering studio where the design and drafting work is made for all kind of structures from the first sketches up to detailed workshop drawings.
Assembly
Our teams of fitters work quickly and reliably with a special care in order to reach high quality with a long lifetime expectancy of the structure. Satisfied customer is our priority.
Production
Production of steel structures is the core business for PKD. The production is settled in two manufacturing facilities with a total consumption of more than 600 t of steel per month.
News
Slovakia - New towers for the production of animal feeds
In 2020, PKD supplied a steel structure for the production of animal feeds. The new towers has a production capacity up to 200,000 tons of the feeds per year. The delivery also included a structure for a square silos. The total weight of the delivered steel was about 1000 tons. According to the investor's request, the entire structure was provided with a fireproof coating for 45 minutes, which was applied directly in the production of PKD.
New diary farm in Vadin just opened
In 2019 PKD finished a modern diary farm in Vadin, with a steel structure spanning over 35m without intermediate supports. Modern technologies, fresh air and happy cows.
CNC cutting machine - Omnicut
In 2018, a new plasma cutter was purchased to increase the production capacity. This plasma cutter enables cutting into large-sized sheets, which could be up to 30 mm thick.
General contractor
PKD is often in the position of the general contractor of constructions. From the design process, manufacturing, assembly up to installation of technologies and commissioning. We are able to provide complete supplies of turn-key projects in agriculture as well as industry.
Certificates
All PKD´s processes are certified acc. to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2016 in connection to ČSN EN ISO 3834-2:2006, ČSN EN ISO 14001:2016, ČSN EN 1090 EXC1-EXC3. We are the holder of European welding certificate under the survey of EU welding federation (EWF).
